Use this code when documentation indicates findings such as pulp stones, denticles, or diffuse calcification within the dental pulp, without evidence of active inflammation or necrosis. This diagnosis is typically made based on radiographic findings or histological examination of extracted teeth.

• Do not use this code for inflammatory conditions of the pulp (e.g., pulpitis); refer to codes in the K04.0-K04.1 range.
