Hidden penis

This code represents a congenital anomaly where the penis is of normal size but is concealed by surrounding adipose tissue, inadequate penile shaft skin, or abnormal attachment of dartos fascia. It is present at birth and is distinct from conditions where the penis is truly small (micropenis) or absent.

Use this code for newborns or infants diagnosed with a penis that is anatomically normal but appears recessed or hidden due to developmental issues with the surrounding tissues. Documentation should clearly state a congenital origin and differentiate it from acquired forms of buried penis.
