Apply this code for patients presenting with documented right cerebral contusion and laceration following trauma, where the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) or similar assessment indicates loss of consciousness for more than 24 hours. Crucially, the patient's neurological status post-coma must be below their pre-injury baseline, and they must be alive at the time of coding.
