This code describes a fracture of the outer portion of the left collarbone that has shifted out of its normal alignment. The patient is currently in a phase of treatment where the fracture is not healing at the expected rate.

Use this code for follow-up encounters with a patient who has a previously diagnosed displaced fracture of the lateral end of the left clavicle and is experiencing delayed healing. This applies when the patient is receiving ongoing care, such as cast changes, physical therapy, or medication management, specifically for the delayed union of this fracture.
