Traumatic secondary and recurrent hemor and seroma, sequela

This code describes a delayed or recurring accumulation of blood (hemorrhage) or serous fluid (seroma) that develops as a consequence of a previous injury. These are not acute events but rather complications that manifest after the initial trauma has occurred and often after initial treatment.

Use this code when documenting a patient presenting with a hemorrhage or seroma that is clearly a late effect or recurrence of a prior traumatic injury. This applies when the original injury has healed or is in a chronic phase, and the current fluid collection is a direct sequela.
