This condition is characterized by a cephalic index (ratio of head width to length) that is significantly lower than average, resulting in a disproportionately elongated skull. It can be a benign variant or indicative of an underlying condition.

Use this code when documentation explicitly states a diagnosis of dolichocephaly, often identified during physical examination or imaging studies.
